Fairfield High School staff were presented with gifts, treats and cards, following a Go Fund Me campaign organised by a group of governors for national Thank a Teacher Day.
The initiative resulted in the donation of five microwaves for the Staff Room, in addition to edible treats.
Staff member Hanifa Tazaoui said: “Receiving these gifts is incredibly touching and genuinely appreciated. Education has its challenges but moments like this remind us of the difference we can make and why we love what we do.”
Parent governor Jessica Speddin said: “We wanted to find a way to thank all those staff who work tirelessly educating and looking after our children.”
