Bristol Rovers Community Trust (BRCT) has announced a partnership with creative company and education provider BoomSatsuma.
BRCT will work closely with BoomSatsuma’s sports media production students, giving the 16-18-year-olds opportunities to build live broadcast and matchday content into their portfolios.
The collaboration will help strengthen BRCT’s own media output and enable the trust to produce more creative and engaging storytelling across its programmes and teams.
The partnership has begun, with BoomSatsuma students having covered Bristol Rovers BTEC fixtures against Swindon and Exeter, as well as the BTEC women’s derby match against Bristol City Robins Foundation.
Marc Lewis, head of marketing and media at BRCT, said: “This is a really proud moment – a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to bring the partnership to life.”
Adam Tutton, CEO at BRCT, added: “It’s fantastic to be working alongside our long-time friends at BoomSatsuma to give their students the opportunity to develop their media portfolios within the world of sport, while also helping to raise the profile of our BTEC Education Programme.”
