Fancy climbing Kilimanjaro?

Adventurers, fund-raisers and bucket-list seekers are invited to take on one of the world’s most iconic trekking challenges in aid of St Peter’s Hospice.

The charity has launched its Mount Kilimanjaro Trek 2028, giving supporters the opportunity to summit Africa’s highest mountain and raise vital funds for patients and families facing the most difficult times of their lives.

Taking place from February 3-13 2028, with its expedition partner, Global Adventures, the 11-day expedition will see participants trek 69 kilometres to reach the 5,895-metre summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain.

Molly O’Donoghue, fundraising manager, said: “This truly is a oncein-a-lifetime opportunity. Without challenges like this, we couldn’t continue our work in caring for patients and their families.”

Three registration options are available – full fundraising, partly self-funded and self-funded and with only 30 spaces available, anyone interested is being encouraged to register interest early.

Support will be provide. For info, visit https://www.stpetershospice.org/support-us/join-our-events/kilimanjaro-trek/
