North Bristol Post 16 Centre, a collaboration between Cotham and Redland Green Schools, is celebrating strong A-level results.
Among the notable achievements, 38 students achieved all A or A grades*, including 12 students achieving all A or equivalent grades*. In addition, 50 students achieved an average grade of A or above, highlighting the strength and consistency of academic performance across the cohort.
More than one in ten grades achieved in 2026 was an A* and well more than half of all grades achieved was a B or above. The centre also saw excellent outcomes for applied courses where over 80% of students achieved a merit grade or higher.
The majority of university applicants secured their first-choice places, with many heading to some of the UK’s and the world’s most competitive institutions.
More students than ever are choosing the apprenticeship route, including several who have earned highly competitive degree apprenticeships in sought-after fields such as finance and engineering.
Directors Aimi Potter (Cotham School) and Owen Tiplady (Redland Green School) say: “It is a great privilege to celebrate an excellent set of results with our students. These achievements are a testament to the hard work, resilience, and creativity our brilliant young people have shown over the past two years.

We know they leave us not only with excellent qualifications, but with the skills, confidence, and ambition to thrive in whatever they choose to do next.”
